Twin Peaks restaurant has now officially opened their doors in Huntsville. They are located next to the new MidCity Huntsville development which is currently under construction. If you like sports then this is the place to be. It will feature 61 HD flat screen TV's and 32 beers on tap. In addition, they will have two full bars. Come hungry because they have an extensive menu available for lunch and dinner. Be sure to check them out. Normal business hours will begin February 23, 2019.

More growth and more jobs are expected in Huntsville by the FBI in the coming years, U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby said Monday, as construction continues on a sprawling campus inside the gates of Redstone Arsenal.

Shelby, speaking to about 900 business and community leaders at a Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce breakfast, said the FBI investment could eventually reach $1 billion.

Such a project would be on par with the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA development in Huntsville, which promises a $1.6 billion development and 4,000 jobs.

It was only two years ago that Councilman Will Culver invited young professionals to a private event to introduce a new “city within a city” in the Huntsville community.

That vision was MidCity Huntsville, a live, work, play development surrounded by parks, plazas and walkable streets. The project — executed by Huntsville real estate firm RCP Companies — would supplant Madison Square Mall, a nearly 1 million-square-foot enclosed shopping center that had fallen on hard times after years of neglect along University Drive.
